I WOULD like to thank everyone who supported me, helped me or voted for me at last Thursday's election.
I really appreciate the confidence you have shown in me and I can promise all residents in the ward (regardless of political persuasion) that I will continue to do my best to represent your wishes and work hard for the good of the area in the new cou
ncil.
Jeff Watson,
Independent Councillor,
Amble West with Warkworth

I WOULD like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who voted for me in last week's election. In the coming months I hope to be able to deliver the promises that I made on many doorsteps by helping to shape the new unpopular unitary authority into one that reflects the high performance of Alnwick District Council.
The present financial situation is very difficult, but I and my colleagues will be working hard to sort out the tremendous problems that we have inherited from the previous administration.
Finally, I would like to pay tribute to my fellow candidates for the hard work that they also put in during the campaign and especially to thank my friend Hughie Philipson for his loyal and committed service to our communities over the past years. I hope to be able to match his dedication.
Roger Styring,
Lesbury Division, Northumberland County Council

l I WOULD like to thank all the people who worked with me and all the people who voted for me to secure a very satisfactory majority in the Northumberland Unitary Council Election.
As I promised in my election address I am in a position to work for the wellbeing of Glendale and everyone who lives here. As in the past, I will be available in the Garden Centre or at home to listen to any suggestions, problems or questions that anyone has and I will do my best to get solutions.
My contact telephone numbers are home 01668 281062, work 01668 281003. email ahm@berwick-upon-tweed.gov.uk
Anthony Murray,
Glendale Garden Centre,
Wooler
