ON behalf of HospiceCare North Northumberland, I would like to extend a huge thank-you to the staff of Proctor and Gamble Newcastle for choosing the hospice for their 2008 charity challenge.
We very much appreciate all the hard work which was undertaken by the team on Monday, November 17, in refurbishing our patient and office areas in Castleside House, Alnwick.

A huge thank-you also goes to Glendale Paints, Woolworths, The Town Hall
Paint Shop, Alnwick Timber and Dickinsons of Alnwick for their kind donation of paint supplies, timber and carpet.

HospiceCare North Northumberland is your local hospice and it is support such as this that allows us to continue providing care for 200 patients and their families each year.
Susan Bridle, Chief Executive
l PLEASE could we thank all who donated to The Great North Air Ambulance in lieu of Alan Gair of Amble who was killed in the tragic accident at Mousen, Belford on Ocotber 3. A sum of £3,080.05 that was donated. Thank you all for your kindness.
From all the family of Alan, who is sadly missed
l I JUST wanted to say thank you very much to all at Lionheart Radio and also Morrisons. I called in for a quiz last week and to my surprise won £100 of Morrisons vouchers which will come in extremely useful at this time of year.

I listen to Lionheart every day and think that they all do an amazing job.
Mel Barber, Alwynside, Alnwick
