CAN I endorse Robert McCarthy's remarks at his trial as the Huntsman of the Percy fox hounds? Whoever brought the case against him was politically pointing at the Duke of Northumberland and thought little about fox hunting.
Bradford Kaims is a caravan estate owned by one of my relations since 1912.

What makes the story so silly is the idea of people on horseback galloping through a caravan estate, dogs chasing foxes and foxes running to ground in a caravan estate.

Surely it makes a mockery of our police force for allowing the case to go forward and the MPs who introduced the Act in Parliament. What a waste of public funding. Well done, Robert.

My clan is the largest in Britain and we have hunted the North of England for the last 2,000 years as a means of controlling foxes, which is essential to our survival and we will continue.
Lance Robson,
Hartburn
