CAN anyone explain why Northumberland Estates intend to build 40 houses on Benthall Field in Beadnell.
This field is a flood plain and is marsh most of the year. It was completely under water in 1967. Who will insure these homes?

Also do the planners ever visit Harbour Road? On a sunny day the traffic and parking near the junction to the harbour is dreadful.

Has a child to be killed before action is taken?
