Percy Wood Golf (Swarland)FREE golf coaching taster sessions will be held on October 20 and 27 and November 3 and 10 from 11am to 1pm. The sessions are open to adults and are part of an English Golf Union (EGU)/English Ladies' Golf Association (ELGA) initiative developed to help people get into golf. Golf balls and clubs are provided free of charge and participants all receive information on a variety of initiatives aimed at continuing involvement in golf. WoolerIN the final men's competition of the season, Richard Lowrey continued his end-of-season form winning the October Medal on 39 points, ahead of Steve Wood on 38. This gave Richard the final 15 points in the Farm to Freeze Order of Merit and a total of 112 points, but that wasn't enough to overhaul his brother Stuart Lowrey who has retained the merit trophy on 118 points. Geoff Brown finishes third on 110.
