Kaims Country Park North Northumberland League
WITH the halfway point of the season already in sight, Goswick A have established a considerable lead in their bid to win the title after a number of near misses in recent years.

They opened up a 14-point lead after round seven following a 10-2 v
ictory at Rothbury and Magdalene Fields A's crushing 12-0 defeat at Alnmouth (Foxton).

The Fields went into the game in second place seven points behind their local rivals but their title hopes look to have been blown away.

They have been overtaken by the Foxton Hall Club whose next match, at home to the league leaders, could have a significant bearing on the championship.

Bamburgh's 9-3 home win over Alnwick saw them go joint third but they remain well off the pace.

Biggest movers on the night were Goswick B who jumped several places following a 12-0 win against Percy Wood.
