A CAR is up for grabs as a charity holds its first golf day at Percy Wood golf course in Swarland.
Henshaws Society for Blind People is hosting the event on Friday, September 11, when golfers can also try to putt golf balls blindfolded.

North East regional fund-raiser Margaret Musgrave is looking for teams of four to take part.

She said: "If you are not able to take part perhaps you could support us by way of a donation, which will enable us to give prizes to the winners and hold a raffle and auction.".
