Carvery is a bit bland for me but that's a personal preference as the rest of their menu is great. Only thing that spoils the visit for me is the attitude of what I presume is the head waitress. She was quite rude to a few customers who were in her way whilst they were queuing for Carvery and I find her manner a little sharp and unfriendly!

Live near to here so used to go allot, when it opened food was very good but has gradually started going downhill recently, went last week and we ordered 2 dishes, ribs and steak asked for medium rare and chicken masala, the steak was very well done and burnt on half, the chicken masala was fine however they forgot to cook the naan bread, when advising a waitress she took it away and brought it back all I can say is microwaved, it was just like warm dough. She took it away again however never returned with another. Several people I know around this area have recently suffered problems like this and are not returning to the restaurant.

I go to the Willow Farm nearly every week as it is close to were I live. Iwould go a little less but I don’t have the cost of the travel to concider.

When you go in some one is there to greet you and take you to your table. After reading the menu and remembering your table number you go to order your food then go to the bar for your drink or get your drink then decide what to order which may be better because the time it takes to decide.

There is a caverey from around £3.45 for a small one to £5.95 for large I personsley don’t like them as the veg has got butter on most things. The menu is a good selection from the home made burgers to Jacket potatoes. I love the Salmon or the Tuna with fresh veg (not in the butter) There is something for every one taste. A good choise of deserts if you have room and the Home made cake at £4.25 to take home or eat there.

There is a family area soft play for the little one’s five and under plus games for the the older ones.
There is also toilets for the children in that area. There is t.v. which you can watch your children playing while you eat and have a chat.

While there is a good size car park and restarant the car park is nearly always full and you have to wait a little while a busy periods. A small price to pay for the good food and service. Also I don’t think you can book ahead as I belong to a walking group and when our leader tryed to book for 22 she was told no. Also we could’nt stop and have a drink after wards. I assume again because it is busy most of the time.

I went with a few friends just before Christmas on the First of December at lunch time.
It was’nt too busy and we sat chatting after our meal and felt under no presser to move.

Dress up if you like or come in jeans, every one dresses diffent and no ones really interested as every one is there for the food.
It would be ideal for any- one traveling though to or from Newcastle air port as there is a hotel about five minutes walk.
The staff are friendly and helpfull
