THE last Northumberland Sheep Dog League Nursery Trial was held at The Fawns on Sunday.
Results: 1 Bevis Jordan and Tex, 80pts; 2 Keith Preston, Queen, 76; 3 Craig Stewart, Tan, 69; 4 Bevis Jordan, Maz, 68; 5 Willie Armstrong, Scott, 67; 6 Emma Gray, Fly, 64. Novice: Craig Stewart and Tan. Fourteen dogs ran.
Championship result: 1 Bevis Jordan. Tex, 87; 2 Colin Balmbro, Fly, 85; 3 Emma Gray, Fly, 84; 4 Scott Smith, Don, 81; 5 Willie Armstrong, Scott, 70.
League final positions: 1 Bevis Jordan, Tex, 53; 2 Scott Smith, Don, 28; 3 Emma Gray, Fly, 22.
The special award for the highest pointed young dog went to Scott Smith and Don. All were judged by Paul Turnbull of Debdon.
