SILENCE is golden for Warkworth Cricket Club Girls Squad.
They raised £325 from a sponsored silence to fund new kit, including hoodies and pink caps.

Warkworth's girls team has operated for two years and forms the backbone of the newly-formed Alnwick District Girls Squad.

Four girls have trained with Northumberland and two have full representative honours, with Rhiannon Roberts, 12, featuring in this season's historic first win over Durham.

In addition, Ellen Puddephatt and Rachel McCoy have played for Warkworth Twos in the Alnwick and District League. The girls would like to thank all their sponsors and in particular Maria Orange, who also participated in the silence.
