A SUCCESSFUL campaign by Alnwick Cricket Club's Juniors was rounded off at an end-of-season awards evening.
The club has been bowled over by the highlights which the young cricket stars have delivered.
With the membership growing over the year and 64 players registered up to U17, the club has supplied seven county players at all levels and provided five U13 players for area matches and for the successful Ashwick Bulls Team, who were crowned Dubai City of Gold International champions.
In the league, the U13s finished second while U17 players supported Alnwick Cricket Club senior teams throughout the season.
Thanks was given to all coaches and managers who gave up their time voluntarily to support the youngsters and to the club's sponsors.
Parents and senior players who gave their support were praised, along with the ground staff who provided fantastic wickets and a respectable clubhouse.
Registration for next season is on Sunday, February 10. Cost will be £20 for the year's membership. Indoor nets begin on Sunday, February 24.
