Support troops this Christmas

Support Our Soldiers sends out morale-boosting care parcels every month throughout the year, as well as at Christmas, to our Armed Forces in Afghanistan and other areas.

The MOD and BFPO have given us permission to send out 12,000 Christmas parcels again this year.

As our soldiers are a long way from their homes and families, we`d like to ask the general public to again show their support and appreciation to our troops by donating items, or making up a box to send over to give them a little bit of home comfort. Items such as chocolate, a small Christmas pudding, biscuits, toiletries, Santa hat, decorations and tinsel will make their Christmas that little bit more special.

We are sending out 300 for the Morpeth/Northumberland area so would appreciate any help our local community can give us. We can arrange collection of items or boxes and we have drop off points in Bedlington, Morpeth and North Shields. Please include a message or card as we know how much they mean to our troops.

If anyone would like to know more please contact Glenn and Elaine on 07877 690397 or email us at morpeth@supportoursoldiers.co.uk or visit our website www.supportoursoldiers.co.uk
