I can only assume your reporter is on the young side if he thinks the very youthful-looking lady in the story ‘I thought she was a goner’ in last week’s Gazette can be described as ‘elderly’ at the tender age of 66.

Most people in their sixties are still active and fit and the ones I know most certainly don’t look or behave as elderly. Celebrities like Twiggy, Joanna Lumley and Lulu are proof of that, not to mention all the over-60 rock stars still going strong.
