St Cuthbert's Royal Balloon Race - VIDEO
Pupils at St Cuthbert's RC First School in Amble celebrated 55 years since the Queen's coronation with a balloon race.
Race organisers linked up with Mt Torrens Primary School, nr Adelaide in Australia that also released balloons on the same day.
Both schools sold balloons to release on the day with proceeds going to the schools.
The release unpderpins work St Cuthbert's school have been doing with multi-culturalism and has forged new links between the two schools.
