A COMEDY duo will be back causing mischief and mayhem at the Alnwick Food Festival.
Peter Lewis and Jimmy Dodds will be taking to the stage as the Baldy Hikers, promising laughs a minute.

The Baldy Hikers are a couple of Austrian men on a hike through Britain, who happen to stumble across the Alnwick Playhouse.

Peter Lewis said: "We are going to show the people of Alnwick what sort of things we Austrians eat. Jimmy is going to prepare something on his Primus stove, with pump action of course!"

But the pair are keeping their costumes under wraps, with the only hint being that they could be very utilitarian.

And they will be bringing their own pots and pans in their back packs, in true hiking style. The menu is yet to be set, but as a chef at RAF Boulmer Jimmy is busy working on it.

Last year the duo performed a sketch called the Holy Smoke, with Peter's son Nick. The sketch received great praise and the pair are looking forward to this year's performance.

And Peter added: "It's good fun afterwards."

You can see Peter and Jimmy at the Alnwick Playhouse on Saturday, September at 1.30pm as part of the afternoon show.
